How to Deliver a baby to a Baby Shower

Items you will need...Oval basket of any kind. I found an old Picnic basket that was perfect for the job, 24- Sz. 3, diapers, 2 receiving blankets, 1 Baby Binky, 1 Baby cap, 1 newborn onesie, Rubber bands, Ribbon, 1 pr. booties, Misc. items to give to momma..Baby Lotions, Oil, Powder, Wipes....

I took the damaged lid off the picnic basket & spray painted the entire basket with 2 coats of Rustoleum Blue Spray Paint..

MAKING A BABY...Taking the 1st. diaper, roll it tightly, then add another on top of it, rolling tightly, & another on top of that, rolling tightly.. secure the 3 rolled up diapers with a rubber band.

You will do this 4 times, making the arms & legs of your baby boy...

The torso & Butt are the same, only... rolling 6 diapers on top of one another for the torso & 8 for the babies butt. Secure them with rubber bands..

Head...take 1 diaper & fold it over LONG wise..to get a smaller ball for the head. Wrap another around that & 3rd. around that. You will secure this with 2 paperclips...

Go a little more than midway down the center of your head, Separate the rolled up diapers & tuck his Binky into his lil mouth.

Place his cap on his head getting it JUST over the top of his Binky...

Constructing a baby...Open the Onesie, insert the arms & legs into their spots...

Add the torso & his cute lil Butt....Zip it up & turn him over on his tummy...

Once in place it's easier to add his booties & replace the legs..

THERE is your baby boy! Don't use the 2 sided sticky tape yet, till you are all done & have him placed in the bassinet. But the baby is complete!

Bassinet...I laid out a layer of diapers on the bottom of the basket... then the layer of goodies, then another layer of diapers on top of that, ending it all with a receiving blanket for the baby to lay on, and bringing him up, closer to the top of his bassinet.

Here's our little boy with his head tucked in the right spot, fast asleep. Use the 2 sided sticky tape on the back of his head & just attach it, lightly, to the neck of his onsie. Hot glued the ribbon onto the basket..

SShshhh~~ And here's our little fella all ready to go to his baby shower... Hope you all enjoyed him.
