I used the solar light portion of these to create hanging lights for my yard but these globes are too pretty to just throw away. I'm looking for ideas on how to repurpose them. I'm sure my Hometalk family will suggest some fabulous ideas.
Hello Webracing99 ! :) WOW! WHAT GREAT LOOKING WALL SCONCES! ;) ... AND I WONDER HOW SHE IS GOING TO PUT HER CHANDELIER UP ... LOL ..... my mind is going crazy here with all sorts of ideas, but it would be easier for you to access "the dream pages of Pinterest" to see what I am talking about rather than me trying to explain them all ;) I hope you don't mind :) Thanks for coming to Hometalk for ideas. You're going to get some now! They may not be YOUR globes exactly, but the principle is the same and you are one smart cookie, so I KNOW you will make it work, whatever it is ;)
What about using tealights inside the solar light shades?
Web, you are so very welcome! I will always do the best I can for the folks who ask questions here. I love the research but most of all I love to try to help whenever I can :)
ooopppsssWeb --- I forgot this one ;) which is actually the one I did NOT want to forget ... it's the whole chandelier thing which was the FIRST thought I had when I saw you holding the globe!
Recently, I made a pair of cloches using two solar shades that were left over from another project. I used retro/antique look drawer pulls for handles and miscellaneous jewelry findings and a few faux jem stones to complete the look.
