What is the quickest way to dry paint so I can put in trash.

- Jill Stevenson Aug 28, 2017Depending on the state that you live in, paint maybe considered hazardous waste, such as it is in California. If so, you cannot put it in the regular trash no matter how you prep it. You can however request a special pick up for hazardous waste items.HelpfulReply

Fix It Jenon Aug 28, 2017You could also contact your local Habitat for Humanity or other recycler of paint, they might want your old paint! Otherwise try kitty litter or sometimes there's a special additive to dry out paint that you can buy at a Home Depot or that type of store.HelpfulReply
