We didn't realize our fiberglass shower had been painted by the previous owner. It is peeling and looks horrible. Can anyone help. I am smell sensitive and can't use anything with a strong smell.

you will probably need a new shower enclosure. you can get them at Home Depot and hire a handyman to install it.

Thank you but it can pretty expensive. The old shower would have to be removed and I'm afraid about that.

In that case, If you can't use chemicals , and afraid to have the shower removed, the only way would be to LIVE WITH IT or 'get down on your knees and scrap the old paint off and start again.

Thank you everyone, We had Home Depot come out. The small walk in shower has to be completely removed and replaced. The rep. started at $13,000 and after much , whatever, he came down to $8,1000. Very high pressure salesman. I will buy Citristrip nd do it myself.
