Dining Room Chairs Refinishing

A client had 4 dining room chairs that had been painted white. She wanted them stripped and refinished in a medium brown stain. Removing the paint wasn't too bad, but stripping all of the old stain underneath was a long, tedious process. I've finally started staining them (chestnut) and overall, I think they're turning out well.

Wow. A lot of hard work. They now look beautiful. Great job! Would you do it again?

If you are going to apply stain with a brush, you need to use a lighter hand. Just trying to give you a little friendly advice because I can see brush strokes all over the finished chair.
