Lantern Turned Fairy Garden

I found this decorative lantern and we created a twist on a fairy garden for my daughter's fairy-themed room: a fairy guest house! We removed all the glass to make it less breakable and used fake plants and preserved moss with our miniatures to make it more suitable to a young girl's room. The end result is a space that would be welcoming to any fairy - my 3-year old daughter is thrilled that she has a place for fairy friends to stay while they work on bringing spring!
A repurposed lantern is a great place for fairies to stay while on fairy-business!
I removed the glass from this lantern so we could make it safer and give it an "overgrown" feel - like the garden itself reclaimed the lantern house.
I added preserved moss and fake grasses, and my daughter added miniatures. She LOVES it!
