Does anyone know where to buy a rotary saw, small, with a cord?

My hands are too small to handle most batteries on tools. I would really like to have a 5" or thereabouts rotary saw for the occasional rip.

Check out the big box home stores first and ask them salespeople for help with this...it is a good place to start...you will see many options and a good salesperson will be able to fit you with what you are looking for...

This is one I bought at Menards, it is not the smallest they sell, they have many choices in the same section. (ignore the glue gun and pliers, they were for something else)

Not sure if this is what you are talking about....but Dremel makes this small saw that should be fairly easy to handle for smaller jobs. It is sold at home centers and possibly even WalMart.

For tools that are not too expensive but will get the job done for occasional use... we have purchased from Harbor Freight. My husband worked construction, and there is nothing more frustrating than having someone walk off with your $100+ Makita drill, grinder or saw...(or have it die in the middle of the job... we started buying the Chicago electric tools from Harbor Freight... they work just as well at a fraction of the cost... grinders are about $15 and you can afford one for each need, wire brush, soft pad, cutting wheel, etc. Just be sure to get a good quality blade to make cutting easier and 'sharper"

Harbor Freight is definitely cheaper than anywhere else, but make sure what you want by checking the home improvement stores for what they have that is the closest to what you want so you know what you are looking for. The other stores may have more choice. As was suggested above, get good quality blades, etc. for it, people always say, "you get what you pay for". The blades, etc. are what do the work and you want it to work well. We have a garage full of tools and found when we were putting the new marine plywood floor in the boat, that a dremel tool was the one thing we needed for the various angles and holes needed to do it right so we could put on the carpet and still have the right areas cut for hinges, etc. to open all the different live wells, storage places, etc. I know what you mean about tools being too big. I have small hands and even though I am strong, I can barely hold some of them because they are just too big. The dremel has also come in handy for other things now that we have one.

Harbor Freight usually has good deals. I got my drill and saw there. I can't handle heavy tools, but their tools work great for me. :)
