Letterpress printing type cases

I have several letterpress printing type cases but am not sure what to do with them, any ideas? They are all wood and some have very ornate handle/pulls on them, Not sure what I am going to do with all of them....ugh.

Wendy, if would help if you share photos of them and let us know the approximate sizes and how big the holes are. Right off the top of my head I'm thinking thread or spice storage if the cubbies are big enough.

I recently saw one with photos in each cubby, and that turned out nicely. If you have more than you know what to do with, put them on Craig's list or have a yard sale (ugh--I like going to yard sales, not throwing them). You can also "theme" them by putting related objects in each cubby, such as miniature kitchen tools or old dollhouse furniture.

@30 results are available, use up and down arrow keys to navigate.wendystahl-frakes beisdes the obvious shadow boxes, you can build storage units to organize your office/craft area, as mentioned you could repurpose for building furniture, my take is there are many things use them for, have fun and think outside the box.

I've seen Pinterest posts on hanging them on the wall and using for a jewelry holder. They used cuphooks screwed into the upper panel of some boxes. I haven't figured out a hook that won't poke there to the adjoining boxes though.
