A Rusty Bin and Pallet Wood Shelf

When I picked this rusty bin up , I just knew it was going to be perfect to use. For something. But it's taken me over a year to figure out just how I wanted to use it. I created a pallet wood backer for the bin and attach it with 2 screws. But it needed more. So I added more pallet wood until I got the look I wanted and ended up adding a shelf over the bin, too. Now it's the prefect addition to my updated gallery wall!
Constructed of pallet wood and a rusty metal bin, my new shelf fits perfectly on my gallery wall and gives my living room a warmth it was missing before.
Metal numbers that look old, but are actually from the craft store, add some fun!
This metal bin is just about the rustiest thing ever! And so perfect for this project!
The metal bin is a shelf itself, perfect for holding smaller photos and items like these vintage glass bottles
Here's the shelf on my updated gallery wall, along with some rusty metal hooks and a vintage slicer.

That's a wonderful idea, you have an amazing imagination! I have so many pallets stacked up in my back yard and I'm looking for ideas to use them for Do you have any ideas?
