I am usually not a traditional wreath fan. I am always looking for ways to make a wreath that may not look like a traditional wreath. This Easy DIY Wood Slice Fall Wreath was made with things I found when I organized my craft supplies.
I love wood slices and thought that would make the perfect base for this wreath.
I cut jute webbing into strips to become the "basket weave" base at the bottom of the wood slice.
I hot glued the strips horizontally on the wood slice. Then, I weaved strips vertically through the horizontal pieces. In the end, I trimmed and glued down some of the pieces.
Then, I added some {aff} fall floral picks, cotton stems and hydrangeas. I love this wreath because I can use it all year round. It isn't just seasonal. I just have to change out what I have in the pocket to make it fit a new season. Anything I can use over and over again is a project I love.
