What do you put under a pecan tree to be able to place furniture, etc.

My girlfriends hubby just leveled the dirt and they plopped down a huge wood picnic table and benches. Then strung lights in the trees for nightime fun, it is awesome! If you need more stability, look into a concrete paver pad, easy, quick and cheap!

I would be careful not to tread on the root zone of the tree too much. Perhaps a small wooden platform, with no footings, just a surface deck with pressure-treated joists and flat on the ground?
