Here are some ideas I had to turn old wine bottles into nice decrotive pieces there are a few different types I have shown here , however all similar just different colours I had just change some of my decor and wanted to make things to go with the path I was I was heading and it was a good way to recycle also .
heres is what I used a stencil on some bottles some chalkboard black paint also I had chalk paint in white a paint. Brush and a chalk marker and a old wine bottle
I started by soaking the bottle in hot water to remove the label and dried in the sun
next I thought about how I wanted this to look and prepared things I would need
i painted my 1st layer in the white chalk paint then went over in the teal colour as I thought the White underneath with give a better look once the teal went on
Here is a pic of the 2 base colours completed
I then used a chalk pencil and lightly had hand drawn the pattern I liked free hand once. I was happy with my design I went over the light lines with my chalk marker
I though ot would look nicer with some twine wrapped around the bottle too
Complete
This one was 2 coats of chalk paint in what again I drew a pattern and used a pink chalk marker and spryed with a sealer once done
this one I did 2 Coats of black chalk board paint and then used a stencil to add the band of flowers I had white and teal chalk paint and blended the layers as I stencilled
i then again drew a pattern using a chalk fine pencil 1st once I was happy with design I used the white chalk marker over to reveal a vibrant pattern these would be great for parties by adding table numbers ect and or use as a vase
Things I needed to make the black bottle stencil spray sealer chalk pen and black board paint
relove label by soaking and let dry
I did 2 Coats black then again had drawn lightly what I liked with chalk as it can be rubbed off if you don't like it or make a mistake once i was happy again I went over the pattern with a chalk marker
Added a small stencil I had for aroundthe top of the bottle
Letting dry
Now compete and I'm really happy with how these turned out I have as gifts to friends who also helped me collect bottles
