Material of the Week: Fairy Lights!

No one's surprised to hear that people love fairy lights, no matter the season, but we've seen an uptick in fairy light fans over the past few days, thanks to these popular Hometalk projects.
Find 3 amazing ways to rock fairy lights in your home below. Grab a strand and get ready to make your home twinkle with charm!

Want to try fairy lights in your home? You can get fairy lights right here.
Project 1 — Create a Fairy Light Headboard Step

1: Hang a curtain rod above your bed

Make sure your fairy lights are LEDs for this update. First, hang a cheap curtain rod on the wall behind your bed. It will be covered, so you don't have to worry about how pretty it is.
Step 2: Arrange your fairy lights over the rod

Hang your fairy lights in a few loops over the curtain rod. Make sure that the loops are evenly spaced out and will create a full headboard look.
Step 3: Hang a sheet over the curtain rod

Make sure all the bulbs are covered by the sheet and arrange it so that the folds fall in attractive drapes. Because you're using LED fairy lights, you don't have to worry about the temperature here.

Project 2 — Make a Jumbo Christmas Wreath

Step 1: Tape together 2 pool noodles

To create your giant wreath form, tape the ends of 2 pool noodles together using duct tape.
Step 2: Add your ornaments

Using hot glue, add your ornaments onto your wreath form. It might take a lot of ornaments to complete this step (but it's worth it!)
Step 3: Top it off with fairy lights

Wrap your strand of fairy lights around the wreath, making sure that they show through each bunch or ornaments and other embellishments.
Step 4: Hang your wreath up

Get ready for a LOT of compliments, because this sparkling wreath is going to catch everyone's eye.

Project 3 — Craft Glowing Fall Topiaries Step

1: Build the tree base

Sit tomato cages on top of big plastic buckets to start off your tree form.
Step 2: Add fall foliage

Wrap strands of fall leaves around your tree form. It might take more than a single strand to really fill in the space around your tomato cage.
Step 3: Wrap fairy lights around your tree

Add a strand of fairy lights to turn your plain fall tree into a twinkling autumnal extravaganza!
Step 4: Place your trees front and center

Make sure your gorgeous glowing trees are in a place that everyone who visits can see and become filled with envy!
