Fall has arrived and it's time to transition my home decor! This year, I decided to use a softer colour palette in the kitchen. I was inspired by these sweet Fall plates.
The plates really compliment the costa rose granite counters and the off white cabinets and walls in the room.
I was excited to find pink pumpkins, bringing in the pink from the lighting and wall art.
I created an island centre piece using two garlands and faux pumpkins. It's not your traditional Fall decor, but it's fun to try something new!
To add volume to the centre piece, I inserted faux hydrangeas into the garlands.
To ground the setting, I used dark br woven chargers. The chargers pick up many dark brown accents in the kitchen.
The stools also match! This wasn't intentional, but it's nice when things come together so well!
Another view of the setting. I am mum obsessed and place many of them both inside and out. On the East Coast of Canada, mums are a popular and are found on most doorsteps.
I used a pink cake stand and tall candle holders to create interest in the centre piece!
Creating the look was simple and inexpensive. I used faux pumpkins but you can easily substitute the real thing.
