    On your skin? We have successfully treated ours with Vick's Ointment. The sooner you start, the faster it works. If it's been there a while, do it a couple of times a day. Don't be skimpy with it. Slather it on. If it doesn't get better in afew days to a week AND you don't know what caused it, see a doctor. It might be a symptom of another disease.

  • Put makeup foundation and powder on them. Watch a few makeup videos to get the technique down so it looks natural.

    If the bruises are fresh, then you can apply pressure with ice packs, frozen bagged veggies, or similar, keeping the bruised areas raised if possible.

    If the bruises are not fresh, then you just have to let nature run its course, and your body heal itself. Makeup can help to disguise them.


    To help prevent bruising in the future, get your blood hemoglobin or iron tested. Often quick dark bruising is a sign that you are anemic.

    Are you referring to a bruise on your body? When you first get a bruise you should apply cold compresses for no more than 20 min. then use warm compresses no more than 20 min, Do this at the beginning of the injury, if it is on or around your eye be careful of the amount of cold or heat.

    Use arnica gel. Apply it two-three times per day. Wal-Mart sells it. Located usually near the creams/ointments like BenGay. If you begin using it close to the time of the injury, the bruise may never appear.
