I have had one in the house for nine years. It is the kind that has no black on the leaves. I also have one of the "Charmed" Wine mentioned above that I received via mail order. Both have been on an inside wall, out of direct sunlight. They droop and close up at night. When they droop during the day or don't spring back up in the early morning, I know I need to water them. They are very forgiving. I have read they will appear to die and as soon as you think you must toss them away, they send out new shoots. I love mine. Also known as a false shamrock.
