Painted Settee With Chalk Paint

I found this settee at a thrift shop for $38. The bones were good but it was tired looking and a little worn. I decided to try my hand at painting it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint!
Before and After!!!
Before and After!!!
$38 and good bones but the fabric was pretty worn and it needed a new life.

What kind of paint did you use and can I use a Berh primer and paint in a satin finish?

Does it crack? I have a wingback chair that has tired upholstery, but bones are good. It is sat in frequently. My concern is that since it’s used heavily, the paint might crack.

Looks great! I am in the process of painting a small sectional/chaise lounge with AS. I am happy with it thus far. Did you use AS soft wax on yours to finish? I plan to post mine when finished.

@Gail Yes, Gail...I did use the wax to finish. It softens it a bit! Please share with me when you're finished! I'd love to see!!
