Why pay $70 for a new Fall wreath when you can hit the dollar store instead?
To help welcome the season change I decided I wanted a new Fall wreath for my front door. I started looking around and everything I looked at was overpriced or really bare. I knew I had an unused grapevine wreath in my storage building and decided to hit the dollar store to see if I could find anything to make my own without spending a lot of money. Boy was I not disappointed. I found LOTS of supplies! With everything being only a $1.00 a piece I loaded up.

First I attached several pieces of leaf garland to the front of the wreath with floral wire.
Then I made ribbon loops using the wire and attached those with a hot glue gun.
Then I took some scarecrow pics, broke off some of the stick (to make it shorter) and stuck those down in the wreath, securing with more hot glue.
Last but not least I took apart a sign and tied just the "welcome" part inside the wreath and I was all done!
I couldn't be happier with how it turned out and can you believe I picked up all the supplies for only a $1 a piece??
Now every time I check the price tags on wreaths in stores I immediately break into a big smile!
