I have my craft supplies sorted by like items in totes. Since they come in different sizes and colors, it seemed to be my best option! This is the right time of year to find them on sale! Don't forget to check for coupons for extra savings!

The Dollar Store sells plastic bins, but if you hit garage sales sometimes you can come away with bins and baskets that are cheaper and might be better sized for what you need.

If you have ribbons you could use a paper towel holder to stack them. For smaller things you could use the clear ,empty medicine bottles. Just screw the lids to a piece of wood and hang them with ribbon or wire or screw th wood to a shelf or something

I use the dollar shoe boxes, they are clear and I can see what is inside. Depends on what supplies you have. There are numerous bins, boxes, plastic containers, lazy susans, cans, etc. Lazy susans can be made with marbles and pie pans from the dollar store. Bins, boxes, etc. can be made with cardboard, wood, etc. or purchased at the dollar store. There are numerous DIY ideas right here on hometalk! Good luck. I found 3 large drawer stackables or you can attach the wheels that come with them and they have worked well. They are at Walmart for $15.00. I bought a few along the way. I also found a 5 shelf metal cabinet to put my paints and supplies on at Aldi for 29.99. I do woodworking, wood burning, ceramics, pottery people, candle and soap making and I wanted containers to keep each craft supplies separate. Good luck! Hope this helps. :)

I also watched Michaels and when they put their storage bins on sale I got three nice ones (at different times) on wheels with separate drawers for my jewelry making.

I seen how people are using fabric to cover boxes, cans and canisters of used products. Make baskets and different organizers out of anything. Our mothers and grandmothers did this in their day.
