by using plenty of textiles that help absorb sound. Add pillows, tapestry type wall hangings and floor coverings!

Shrubbery is a good sound barrier.

Put up a buffer like plants, or out door decoration with cloth, wood, and other materials that absorb sounds. See your home improvement store for ideas on making a cozy sitting area if you can do that in your echo chamber and have fun.

The best thing to do is to add furniture, carpets, ect to absorb sound and minimize echoing

i had a large echo chamber in my home too! So annoying! Of course use lots of soft things...rugs, floor cushions drapery, upholstered furniture. This was all great but still an echo. The problem went away one I replaced my Pergo (hate that stuff) with a vinyl plank floor with a cork backing. Insulated my floors and deadened the sound. Easy to care for. I realize you might not want to go to the extreme for the sound issues, but if it's time for a floor make over ...welllll that might just be your ticket.

Thanks. I have thought about cork flooring, but ou house is new and not time to replace the flooring now. I'll just have to add more rugs and stuff for now.
