Add Ambient Lighting to Your Deck Railing

The sun is setting later, but we still want to enjoy a pleasant evening outside. To brighten up the darker corners of our deck, I decided to install rope lighting under the deck railing.

Now with the click of a button, we can change the lights from ambient white light...

to fun holiday colors! These lights are weather resistant, so they can stay outside all year. And because they're hidden under the deck railing, it doesn't look like we forgot to bring in our Christmas lights at the end of the year!
