Five Dollar, Five Minute Organization

I really love an organized home. It stresses me when I have to search or dig to find something. I recently reorganized my very small entryway closet. I have a lot of different gloves/hats and I thought gathering them all up in a basket and putting it on the top shelf would be a good storage idea, right? Not so much. Even though they were all contained in one spot, I still had to take the basket down from the shelf each time I needed gloves and dig and search for the mate. I love over the door shoe organizers and use them around the house...in the bathroom, shower, garage and shed. I hung one on the back of my entryway closet door, and in five minutes, corralled all my gloves/hats and umbrellas in one place. Now I can see them all at a glance as soon as I open the door. I kept the basket on the shelf for a couple of larger items. Now I can grab my coat, gloves and hat without the frantic search. It's also easy to put them back when I hang up my coat. Bring winter on baby! I'm ready!

Love this idea. My closet has bifold doors. How would you adapt this idea to work with them?
