there is a special rose spray you will need to use on your roses.
mine are in pots also. I sprinkle the soil with epsom salt once a month. That helps with the brown leaves.

Try a mixture of water, baking soda, dish soap, and vegetable oil in a spray bottle. Fill the bottle with water and add two tbs baking soda, 1 tsp dish soap, and 1 tbs vegetable oil.
