Yellow flower fell off my small cactus -- will that shorten growth?

I have a small Grandfather CACTUS in my apartment that had a yellow flower attached. The flower 👀 ed like it was attached with glue. The flower opened & closed with the weather conditions. Will the missing flower shorten the growth of the Cactus?

No. if it is attached with glue, it is a straw flower put on the cactus to make it more colorful and interesting to buyers..
No it will not. Cactus plants bloom just like some flowering shrubs - just part of their natural growing process. I have some that are 25+ years old.
Why would someone glue a flower to a cactus in the first place?
If it was glued on, it was truly never really a part of the cactus and should not affect it.

No, not at all. All flowers fall off eventually. As long as the plant is healthy it will be fine. Make sure you don't overwater.
