citrus peels,citrus oils,hot pepper sprays ,garlic sprays,plastic forks with prong sides up
there is a product to keep animals away. It is pricy and really doest work well.
Grate up some Irish Spring soap and sprinkle around your hostas. They hate the smell and won't go near them.
