They are all house broke. Just more worried about spilling water from water bowl...coming in from doggy door, and scratching.

We recently redid the floor in our master bathroom and discovered a great flooring option. It is vinal plank flooring by Shaw. This stuff is great. It is a floating floor that clicks together and it looks like wood. It comes in all kinds of colors and finishes. It is water proof and stands up to the dog, cats and husband. I plan to do our kitchen next, then onto the bedroom.

I put down luxury vinyl (the glue down kind) in my kitchen and mud room. I liked it so much, I am doing the rest of my home. I have 5 dogs and one of the oldest has a hard time making it to the doggie door, but the vinyl planks are so resilient, I never see damage. It doesn't show scratches, waterproof, and pee proof. I mop it like I would mop a tile or sheet vinyl floor. There is such a wide variety of widths and patterns that you just cannot go wrong. I am 70 and have done the floors by myself (one room at a time, of course - I'm not super-woman.) Give it a try in a small room - if you don't like it, try something else in another room, but I do not think you will go wrong with luxury vinyl planks.

We needed something for a new three season room that is not heated and my husband found 'Floors-to- Go' on line. They make vinyl flooring planks that are laid down with no glue or nails. We love the wood look and if one should get damaged we can just pick it up and replace it, no hassle. They will send samples and deliver to you. We have a small dog but all her running around does no damage. would use this product again.

I recommend the new luxury vinyl plank flooring, looks just like wood, but is easy to install and with our 4 dogs has been wonderful to clean and scratch-free.
