I want to tile behind my counter stove top but too expensive-ideas?

Peel and stick tile, stencil a design, use the metal ceiling tiles. I believe you can buy one piece, because they are pretty big and just mount behind your stove.

We got a couple pieces of that formed material that looks like old tin ceiling tiles. I think it was about $20 and covered that entire side with little waste. Here is one I really like using pop bottle caps. Let your imagination run wild! I have a bunch of those clear, flat glass beads that I am considering using behind my sink.

Small areas are not expensive to do and well worth it to tile or put a real material because of the heat and staining. Look at photos on Pinterest for some ideas.
