Some people are "old"at 69, some are still young. It's not only how many years you've lived on this earth, but your state of mind and how physically active you are. BUT, according to the government, and health personnel, 69 is considered old.

i have met 90 yr old gents who could out work me at age 25. A lot depends on genetics, attitude and physical stamina. Wear out or rust out. I'd rather wear out. My grand parents lived into thier 90's.
Not in my world! My best girlfriend is 70 and she is anything but old! And is in better shape than me!
Age is only a number, it doesn't define the person. What does 69 feel like? It's what (YOU) feel like, how you feel about yourself. Do you stay active? Do you have a hobby you can share with others. I live in a senior village, and there's people who are 55 but they act like their ,90. So many people feel the number should tell them how to act, how they should feel, what they should be doing, what they shouldn't be doing. I'm female and 64, I feel that I'm living my life for me not my age. EJL.
