Holly hock seeds should be planted in August.....remember they are bienniels
plant your bulbs in late September or early October. The hollyhocks in late spring after all fear of frost gone. This gives both a chance to establish themselves.
Hi Francine. For the bulbs it would wither be spring or fall. It depends on what bulbs you have. Hollyhocks are also best planted spring or fall. Make sure you water the Hollyhocks for a few weeks after planting.
