back in the day when I was customizing engines we used a cotton buffer wheel , it cleaned to a shine then coated it with clear coat to stop oxidation. But ther is a product in the automotive cleaning section called NEVR-DULL this is in a can and is a cleaner in soft balls to clean all metals. try that, but coat after to slow down oxidation.

try buffing it with a cotton buff wheel on a drill or use NEVR-DULL which you can find in most automotive cleaner counters this cleans most metals as well. After you clean them coat with clear coat to slow down oxidation.

We power wash our siding. It was suggested to us NOT to do it on a sunny day because it would streak.

We will try it. We have a power washer, but I was afraid it would be too harsh on the siding. Thank you!
