I would put shelves in it to put nick nacks in it. I had one yrs ago & I drilled holes in boards to make the shelves adjustable & put them on the inside sides & put one on top & made shelves to fit. Good luck.
Put a frame around it on both rooms and set a row of plants there to help clean the air. Frame can be made from base board wood with character.
We installed an aquarium. It was beautiful and enjoyed from both sides!
Hello ! A beaded curtain would look lovely in that space . Because the beads would not close off the space all together, depending on the beads you choose it could really add some beauty to both rooms.
Add a shelf, like the one suggested, but use it as a buffet. ??
