Target, sells leather wipes made by Method that work wonderful! I've had great luck with them, on my leather furniture! And I have kids and my parents bring their golden retrievers over frequently!!
Saddle soap to start with. Then a good quality buffing.

@MeeWalt like @Pinkflmngo626 mentioned above, if your leather is a smooth type, then saddle soap is a VERY good place to start or even Murphy's Soap, which is GREAT for ground in dirt on any kind of animal skin because it won't dry it out. Unlike commercial soaps and detergents, it hasn't had its glycerin removed. As for the shine, that's going to require elbow grease, I'm afraid. A good saddle shop would be the place to start or where you purchased your furniture, if they had a knowledgeable staff about the leather pieces they sold. Still, the leather shop would be my first and BEST bet. Good luck!
