How could I change the soluble fabric paint to gel-like paint?

I did a google search for an answer and can't find anything that will seem to do what you want. The closes thing I got was an article on ebay.com about How to make acrylic paint transparent. What caught my attention here was an answer to a comment - "Gel mediums are what I usually look for. Golden and Liquitex both make them"

Hi Janusz, I found this group of upholstered pieces today on Hometalk. Maybe there is something in one of these make overs that will help you. Be sure to read or at least scan the comments. Sometimes you'll find great ideas from people who have done it before and comment on what worked for them.
