Help! What is the best fertilizer for hydrangeas?

    Fertilizer should not be applied until next spring and it depends on which particular one you have

    Hydrangeas are acid loving. Use something like Miracid

      I believe if you want a deep blue color you use bluing abound the plant and if you want true pink you use lime. Please check on that before doing it

    Simwalestate is correct if you care to change the color from blue to pink but unless a company has integrated that with a fertilizer, I believe we're talking about 2 different issues.

    It;s a good idea to use a granular, slow-release fertilizer with a high percentage of phosphorus. But like Janet said, it's best to apply in spring/early summer.

    I recently read that ipsom salts revitalizes them. Instructions are on the package for plant food ratio.
