Turn the chair upside down remove the seat then the filling and old cover. Measure a peice of foam to fit on the top of seat base. Measure and cut a piece of material larger than the seat area; stretch over seat and foam and staple underside. Reattach seat.

Use an electric knife to cut out your foam.

Draw the outline of the seat on the new piece first using a felt marker. Then getting one person to hold the foam, another person cuts out along the pattern lines using an electric knife. It will be way easier than trying to use scissors to cut straight and smooth lines through thick foam.

  • Easiest recover job ever! Just turn upside downand unscrew the seat. Rip all the old stuff off, determine if you need new foam or not. Then wrap in quilt batting and staple underneath. Now new fabric of your choice. Make sure it is something sturdy and easy to spot clean if necessary. Screw seat back on. Done!🌞
