How to finish glass backsplash tile in hard to reach area.

I have two questions. One is how to fill in the tiles in the corner where the counter is too deep to reach the wall. I also ran out of mortar and only have about fifteen half tiles needed to complete the job. Is there something else I can use or can you buy mortar in smaller containers other than 10 lbs.?

Can you post a photo, I am having a hard time visioning a counter too deep? Just get up on the counter and finish the job? Something doesn't sound right.

  The corner I want to finish with half tiles only has 15 inches of clearance between the counter and the upper cabinets so when I climb on the counter I can’t see into the corner. There is no room to stretch out on the counter either.

  I have tried that, it makes me a little closer but because the top cabinets are so low to the counter it makes it harder to see what I am doing. Incidentally I fell against the counter using the stepladder and bruised a couple of ribs, making it even harder to reach in there.
