What kind of tile? You have to be careful what you put on it if it is in an area that is wet and potentially slippery. Without knowing exactly what you have, try cleaning with a regular cleaner like Mr. Clean in solution per the directions and a sponge mop. Then coat with two coats of "Johnsons professional stone tile and terrazzo" floor finish. I have used this in an area where the tile gets wet and it works so that the floor is not slippery. Unfortunately I have only seen this sold by the gallon, but I use it myself on my back porch and it makes the tile look great. You will have to use it annually to keep it looking good. Good luck.

Have you tried Mr. Clean Eraser Sponge?
Those are great aren't they! They clean just about everything wonder what they are made of? Good for clear plastic coffee tumblers also.
