from the walls? It would be easier to recover it with no V.O.C. paint.

From the walls? What products were you looking at? I am puzzled, as I have never ever "removed" paint from walls. What are you trying to achieve? If you "remove the paint" what are you going to do next?

  You did not specify, "remove paint from a bedroom" is vague and ambiguous, which is why I was puzzled. Did not mean to be insulting. You can use Citristrip, the recipe from another Hometalker or . . . This is really messy, you can sand it off down to bare wood and then start over.

You need a commercial paint remover. That is unless you want to scrape it all off with glass or razor blades or metal scrapers. I have never heard of a home made paint remover and if there were one it would have to contain the same components as the commercial products.
