Coleus are an annual. If you want to try to winter them over indoors they MAY survive, but probably wouldn't do well if you were to plant them again outside in the spring.
I'm glad to hear it helped you. I find that website to be very helpful in all the plants I own that I will have to take in for the winter. My back room is going to look like a jungle this year just with the five hibiscus I am bringing in, so I take advantage of any plant I can put to sleep for the winter and replant next year. Elephant Ears, Coleus, Tuberous begonias, all will be relegated to the basement store room to be replanted next year.

you can ,re-pot them in the next size planter,spray them down with horticultural oil and bring indoors in a bright location

I did. In the spring take cuttings and put in water. They will develope roots fast. Just be very careful when you tansplant soft roots to dirt.
