Look in the attic to see where the roof sits.

By contacting an expert. If you are unfamiliar with house construction, don't take any chances.

Can you get into the attic to see what's attached to what? If not, all walls that make up the exterior of the house are load bearing. Most (but not all) of the walls that go through the center of the house are load bearing. The difference is, if your roof is a 'truss roof'. A clue here is, do you have enough room to stand up in your attic or are there boards going up and down in a 'W" fashion? If that's the case, there's a good chance your roof is truss and may stand the removal of interior walls. The trusses make it self supporting. Walls between maybe bedrooms and closets are not normally load bearing. Please, before you began a project like that, pay a professional a few dollars to give an expert opinion. It's not worth the risk of damaging probably your most costly possession.

Awesome! Thanks everyone. We have a very small kitchen and have the fridge in a closet that has a door facing the kitchen and another door facing the hallway

With the framework of both doors creating a corner. We wanted to remove the corner so we could get a larger fridge. The house we own is a cape cod with dormers.i will also watch a few videos and then contact a professional before we do anything. Hubby seems to think the construction of the home is called balloon.

Ballon construction has no effect on your situation, the main concern is is there a load from the top of wall to the roof or do the ceiling joist meet over that location you can transfer the load but you have to know how. I should certainly advise you to have someone that knows before proceeding Be careful
