There are many different things you could use that old window for such as putting pictures in the panels for a picture frame. Also we just took two old windows and some chain and hung them at one end of our porch for a wind break and a bit of privacy without blocking the view.

Here are some more from fellow hometalkers using the Hometalk search feature. Some of these are regular windows so you'll have to scroll down to find their old windows ideas. Have fun!

We purchased our present home and the previous homeowner recycled an old wooden-paned front window that they used as a windbreak on the deck. We painted the frame black and repaired the caulking around the mullions.

Next we installed some eyebolts and chain to the top and then suspended it from the beam on our covered deck.
