Carve a different type of pumpkin for this faux-tastic arrangement!
The supplies you need for this include:
Fake pumpkin (preferably with styrofoam filling)
Serrated knife
Faux flowers + succulents

Carefully use a serrated knife to cut the top off of a fake pumpkin.

The pumpkin I used has a solid styrofoam center going all the way through. I love this because this center is a perfect base for inserting the flower stems.
When creating a centerpiece like this I like to have a few trailing blooms or vines to soften the edges. I recommend placing those first.

See how they stick right into the styrofoam - so EASY!
Next, stick your flowers into the base.

I used soft blues and greens. I like to group them for more "impact."
Finally, fill in the center with the remaining blooms.

I snuck a few succulents into the mix, I think they give this a nice modern feeling to the arrangement.
Blue pumpkins are all the rage (and among my all-time FAVORITES!) this season, and they are perfect companions to this centerpiece.
Here's a closeup of the trailing faux blooms.
See the little succulent peeking out? So charming!!
A pillar candle candlestick makes a perfect pedestal for this arrangement.
