go to a fabric store and look at the pattern book. They all have a section for home items. The pattern will tell you how much fabric to buy.

Cornice, sorry. It's a long window, I have a room darkening shade and the light is coming in above the roller.

Use foam board. The kind you buy in 4 x 8 sheets at the lumber store. Home Depot will cut to size for you. Duck tape the pieces together. Reenforce with u shaped pins. Cover with batting and fabric then hang on L shaped angle brackets. You can use a front, top and one side on each where they meet you will not need sides, just use u shaped pins to hold together on top and bottom. Very light weight and no one knows it is not wood.

Thank you so much Dolly. Can't wait to get down to our condo and try it. Hugs
