This isn't a good idea. If your floor has the slightest pattern that indents, your paint will crack all over the place. Put down new tile, it's more expensive that paint but you can put it over the tile that's there. Measure the room, go to Homedepot or Lowe's and they can tell you how many boxes you need to cover the floor. Buy one extra box, for mistakes and future repair. Make sure all the boxes have the same lot#s, this avoids have different shades off one color, it's hard to explain. Next you start from the middle out to the walls. There are arrows on the back of each peel-n-stick tile, they show you how to lay it down. Good Luck!
