simple solution, 1) shave both ends down to be flush/in line with the wall,
2) drill a hole half way into each end,
3) then attach the keyhole plate to the back of the branch over the now flushed parts with a power screw driver.
4) measure / mark on the wall where each plate will contact with the metal plates.
5) drive in each screw on the marked areas, making sure the screw's tops/heads fit snuggle into the round opening of the metal plates.
supplies: metal plates that come with their own screws, two corresponding screws, pencil, power drill with proper bit, confidence. cost $3 - $7
