Putting in pocket doors

We bought a winter home in Florida, and because of my son is in a wheel chair we have to put in pocket doors in two places.
Thank you for your time and help in this project

There are lots of videos on how to install, I would say look for a pocket door frame that is 39" wide as that is the ADA recommendation for wheelchair accessible door frames. I see Johnson at Home Depot has a 48" doorway, maybe you can ask do they have a 40" These don't come with the door. I would check Habitat for Humanity for a wider door as they usually have lots of them. You could possibly get away with a 36" if his chair is very narrow.
