I'm not sure. Now that you ask me, most of the pictures I've seen involving chickens in a garden , are free range chickens that are on green grass every day. I dont free range, so I would like a tree that full grown, can use some branches for perches, and greenery/and or flowers that are not attractive to eat, but that won't hurt them if they do. I do supplement them with fruits and veggies.
