It's the minerals in the water. Add LemiShine booster, you can find it at walmart with the dish detergents additives. I love it! I add it to every load, with the dish detergent! You might want to clean your dishwasher too. Run an empty load with just a jar of tang or the Lemishine and some dish detergent, it will help clean off the minerals already in it.
We had this trouble, kept doing everything and then the dishwasher quit, So buying a new one helped solve our problem (pump quit). Make sure your water is HOT, add vinegar, and run the rinse cycle, see if that helps. No dishes, just rinse the machine. You can also use Lemonade or Tang for a citrus cleaner. Always keep the blue rinse aid full.
soak them in vinegar. if you have really hard water you can put a bit of vinegar in the rise aid cup.
it can be also from the type of water if it hard water soft or something else use some jet good luck
Try setting a cup of vinegar on the top self the next time you fun the dishwasher. If that doesn't work you might try switching your detergent and rinse aid or leave out the rinse aid in case that is the problem.
I always use a rinse aid and the powerball type detergent -- never the gel or liquid detergents. The gels and liquid detergents will leave a gummy deposit along the bottom of your dishwasher (below the door and on the gaskets). The dishwasher manufacturers will tell you not to use them because eventually the deposit will cause the dishwasher to leak. Many leaking dishwashers have been replaced unnecessarily because they just needed to be cleaned. If your detergent is leaving a residue inside the dishwasher, it's leaving a residue on the dishes! Periodically, every dishwasher will benefit from adding a cup of white vinegar to a wash cycle. Just pour it into the bottom, put the detergent tab in the dispenser, and run your normal load. This will give the dishwasher a good cleaning and wash the dishes at the same time. I also add a cup of vinegar if I have a lot of clear glassware - no spots!
Thanksfor all the suggestions. Looks like vinegar may be my next fav!
