I have a raised heat / mug stain on my veneer, need to get rid ASAP
I've got some drawers that are in perfect condition, so I'm selling them but I'd really like to get rid of a weird slightly raised mug stain thing on the top of them, see photo, I just don't even really know what caused it, let alone how to get rid.
The photos aren't great and I'm not even sure what they're made out of, but it's definitely veneer stuff, not proper wood, it's also like, matte black but not painted (I'm useless I know). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

tooth paste not the gel stuf the old fashioned pasty stuff. acts like a buffing paste
Rub oil,mayo,coconut oil,(oil substances)in a circular motion with a micro-fiber cloth
It looks like either the veneer has raised from heat or the particle/mdf board has swelled. If it is raised and flexes when touched place a damp cloth over it and use an iron at low heat just to warm it up a little. The use a piece of wood and rub down to press it back down. The heat will reactivate the glue so it should stick down. If it doesn't flex to the touch and is hard then the particle/ mdf board has swelled. No way to repair this.
