How to fix MDF that was kilzed improperly

Removed vinyl coating off old kitchen cabinets and primed with kilz. Sanded and tried painting over them. BIG MESS. What's the best way to get it back down to bare wood. Tried sanding long long process. Tried paint remover. Not working well. HELP!

Maybe try a lacquer thinner to get it off. Scraping and sanding will probably be the best ways to remove a primer though.
MDF will never yield good results.
The only thing that's working is elbow grease. And oh my elbow hurts. Thanks everybody.
